Please complete the following steps in order. Please remain silent and on-task during the entire class period.
1. Get out your homework, "Water: Physical and Chemical Properties." Mr. Wolf we be around to do a homework check.
2. Click on the link to complete the "Chapter 11 Quiz: The Flow of Fresh Water" using the Quia website. You are allowed to take the quiz up to three times. If you do not score a 40 out of 40 (100%), retake the test until you score a perfect or you have used all three attempts. Only your best score will be recorded in the gradebook. You may use your notes, book, and internet to help you with the quiz.
Note: Quia will be down for maintenance for a two hour period this weekend. See their website for details and plan accordingly.
3. Ensure your "Chapter 11 Expert Sheets" are complete. These will be due on Monday.
4. Explore the following website: USGS- Water Science For Schools
5. Once you finish everything else, pick from the following options.
Option 1: Examine water data from our area by exploring the following link. USGS- Water Resources
Option 2: Learn about the "Science in Your Watershed".
Option 3: Explore the EPA's website on water.
Option 4: Complete a "Read and React" paper for bonus.
